Get To Know The X Factor Digoseña KZ Tandingan!

Let’s get to know XFP’s most favorite contestant…up close and personal.

Kristine Zhenie Lobrigas Tandingan, more popularly known as KZ Tandingan, was born at the Paramedics Clinic in Digos City, Davao del Sur on March 11, 1992. The 20-year old singer was raised by her parents, Engineer Tex Cansico Tandingan Jr. and Mrs. Marites Lobrigas Tandingan.

KZ has two siblings. Her sister, Kathrine Sheree, 19, is a third-year college student taking up electrical engineering at the University of Southeastern Philippines (USEP), while her 6-year old brother, Tex Paul Matthew, is a grade-one pupil.

KZ finished elementary at the Magsaysay Central Elementary School in 2004 and graduated in secondary at the Digos City National High School in 2008. She is a bachelor degree holder in biology which she obtained in USEP this year.

Besides singing, her hobbies include dancing, reading pocket books, watching videos and movies, and playing musical instruments (except the violin), her mom said.

KZ started singing as a child but had to stop when she was in her junior year in high school after suffering from a throat problem.

Her favorite sports are lawn tennis and basketball and she has learned basicTaekwondo (it’s her sister who has a belt).

She loves to eat pizza and hotdog and her favorite color is blue (take note admirers and would-be suitors).

You can ask KZ to do something while on the road…except driving. KZ’s mom told me that the singer is afraid to drive any type of vehicle, particularly the motorcycle.

KZ and the whole family are members of the Jesus Is Lord International Ministries.

There you go. I hope that with these information, you’ll know KZ even more and will give her full support as competition in the X Factor Philippines gets tougher.

To vote for KZ whenever voting lines are open, just type XF KZ and send to 2331 for Globe, TM and Sun subscribers, or 231 for Smart and Talk ‘N Text subscribers.

Cagas’ Bay Walk project in Aplaya, Digos City a big fail!

The Bay Walk join project of Governor Douglas RA Cagas, Congressman Marc Douglas IV Cagas and SP Chairman Mercedes C. Cagas in Aplaya, Digos City is a big failure or just being neglected?

The name of the Cagas is attached to this project which is now as we see in the picture below in a very pity condition.

I was very proud then that a project to make the sea shore in Digos City become a tourist attraction. But sad to say that the Bay Walk is a hazard to those who are visiting the place.

Could it be the fault of the construction firm who made the project? What will the Cagases do with it now? Will they do something to restore the project?

Is this a tax payers money gone to waste again?

What do you think?

Dental Health: Gingivitis causes and treatment!

Gingivitis means inflammation of the gums (gingiva). It commonly occurs because of films of bacteria that accumulate on the teeth – plaque; this type is called plaque-induced gingivitis.

Gingivitis is a non-destructive type of periodontal disease. If left untreated, gingivitis can progress to periodontitis, which is more serious and can eventually lead to loss of teeth.

A patient with gingivitis will have red and puffy gums, and they will most likely bleed when they brush their teeth. Generally, gingivitis resolves with good oral hygiene – longer and more frequent brushing, as well as flossing. Some people find that using an antiseptic mouthwash, alongside proper tooth brushing and flossing also helps.

In mild cases of gingivitis, patients may not even know they have it, because symptoms are mild. However, the condition should be taken seriously and addressed immediately.

Treatment:

A visit to your Dentist every six months for your routine general oral prophylaxis could prevent gingivitis from occurring.

Or you may visit Ortiz Dental Clinic and TMJ Center in Davao City and Digos City, Davao del Sur for your dental health needs.
