TWO airline companies are eyeing to open flights along the Davao-Manila, Kota Kinabalu-Davao and Sandakan-Davao routes this year.
This is another good news to the people of Southern Mindanao, now we have more options to fly from Dabvao City to other neighboring countries without going through other major airports elsewhere.
The two airlines that will fly regional from Davao City are:
Southeast Asian Airlines (Sea Air) will start a connectivity flight from the Davao International Airport to Manila, and they will also start operating the Kota Kinabalu-Clark next month.
MASwings to open flights from Kota Kinabalu-Davao and Sandakan-Sabah and Sabah-Davao flights towards the end of the year.
This flights will boosts the Brunei-Indonesia-Malaysia-Philippines East Asean Growth Area, especially the development of more connectivity flights within this region.
