This coming Sunday, August 30, 2009 StarStruck alumni will grace the remote launching at SM Davao Events Center. LJ Reyes, Iwa Moto, Jackie Rice, Chariz Solomon, Jan Manual, Chuck Allie, Arci Munoz and Sunshine Dizon will be there to assist and entertain would be StarStruck applicants. Application forms will be given to those aspiring StarStruckers.



If you are intrested to audition and you are 16-23 year old, male or female, Filipino citizen with talents in singing, dancing and acting, then you are qualified. Just go to SM Event Center to get your application form.

Please don’t forget to bring a copy (original and photocopy) of your birth certificate, whole body close-up picture. Applicants who are below 18 years old please bring with you a written parental consent from your parents together with their valid ID’s(original and photocopy).

The “9th Araw ng Digos City” is week long celebration of its cityhood with this years theme: “Kalamboan, Kalambigitan sa Tanan“. It took me sometime to uploads the pictures that I have taken during the “Street Dancing” last August 22, Kadayawan Festival 2009!

The festival was a great success there are lots of tourist who came in to witness the biggest event of the city of Davao. The program started at around 8:00 a.m. where different contingents from Davao City and some parts of Mindanao came in to participate the prestigious street dancing competition.

As I reported 2 days ago that Willie Revillame is going to do a ‘Wowowee’ show here in Davao City, I was mistaken. It is a “Wowowillie” Show in Davao City which is sponsored by Manny Villar. A concert at the Agro Industrial School Fouyndation grounds, people flocke to the venue as early as five hours before the said show.



The concert started on time and heavy rains came but still the show did go on with Willie Revillame dripping wet together with Manny Villar. The rain did not stop that the sound system not to function properly. Then it was time for the show to stop. The people are still very eager to see their idol they even tried to go up the stage just even after the show was stopped.

There were no injuries reported amidst the rain and the number of people present at the concert

Last Kadayawan Festival a billiard tournament was hels here in Davao City at the NCCC Mall and great names in billiards was here in the city to play in “The Manny Villar Cup” Kadayawan leg.

Efren “Bata” Reyes won the title in grand fashion as he recovered from a slow start to beat Ramil Gallego, 11-5, in showdown watched by a big crowd at the activity area of NCCC Mall.

It was Reyes’ first major title in almost three years, and it proved that at age 55, the man regarded as the all-time best billiards player in the planet remains a force to reckon with in the sport.

Senator Villar awarded the trophy and the P300,000 top prize at stake in the three-day tournament, Ramil Gallego settled for P120,000.

Willie Revillame is definitely back on “Wowowee“, for the Kadayawan 2009 celebration a live taping for “Wowowee” with Willie Revillame will be held tommorw August 23, 2009 at the Agro Industrial School Foundation ground.



For sure all the “Wowowee” co-host and dancers will be there for the live taping and some surprise Kapamilya stars, too. If you don’t have anything to do tommorow, head downt to the Agor Industrial School Foundation and be patr of the live taping of Wowowee Kadayawan Festival Celebration!

This willl all put to rest the rumor that Willie Revillame is resigning from the said show.

Another NCCC Mall will be open north of Davao City in Panacan, construction of the mall is on going and it will be the biggest NCCC Mall to be built in the city. This is another great shopping experience for people up north of the city.



The location area is in the picture above. This is a good place to build another mall in the city which is not at the center of the city which is already crowde with malls. People on the north side of the city need not travel far with all the traffic going to the city this is a big development.
