Visiting Puerto Princesa will not be complete unless you visit their Baywalk where the icon ‘Ang Princesa sa Baybay’ as their landmark on the bay. You can enjoy the place specially during the sunset. You can see the changing of colors of the sky which is always a different from day to day.
The park is very clean although it is not yet fully finished, there are still construction going on, The place is well maintained, there are lots of locals that goes here just t relax and enjoy the day.
There are also vendors that sell their goods here and mostly some thing to eat like Ice Cream, Balut, Peanuts, candies, softdrinks, water and some fried snack foods.
You can enjoy the tranquility of the park just listening to the waves that hits the wall on the bay.
Or just enjoying the sight of the place is already relaxing enough. There are also lots of children playing around with their bikes and running around the park and the place is very safe indeed.

Masao Beach, Mati , Davao Oriental!
Want to discover nice place to spend this summer?
Wanna try something new and not so crowded and a place where the sea is at it’s calmest. Try going to Mati, Davao Oriental and try Masao Beach Resort. It is located inside Pujada Bay hence the beach is calm with very subtle wave.
More pictures after the jump.
When you enter the resort this is what’s going to greet you.
And their famous statue of a mermaid good for photo oppurtunity.
The sea as I said before is very calm.
And in summer nights you can also enjoy having a dip under the moon.
And Mornings are glorious to wake up to.
This is how it looks from afar.
This is what makes this place unique, you can rent one of their cottages or rooms on the resort. But it is advisable for you to just visit the place, stay the whole day and bring your own food. The time we were there we stayed for two days and they have a restaurant that offers a very limited menu. And even if you are going to order just a fried egg it takes them an hour before they are served that goes with the other orders too. Even if they don’t have any other guest the service is really bad. That is why it is advisable to just stay and look at the place and not to stay there at all.
The amenities and rooms of the place is also not very comfortable and sometimes water doesn’t work at all. But all in all the place is nice for swimming and dipping. If you have small kids with you it is also not advisable. If there is high tide there is no place for them to play in the sand since it is under water t and surely they wont enjoy it there.
Going there from Mati City is 15-20 minutes with car and if you don’t have one, only motorcycles go there since the road is not paved.

Digital Filipino Club Bloggers Meet-Up 2009!
The Digital Filipino Club Bloggers meet-up which was spearheaded by Jamette Toral was a big success. There are more participants this year than last years event as confirmed by the organizers.
The venue was the same as last year and it was sponsored by PAGCOR Casino Filipino Davao and held at the Pantawan Restaurant f I am not mistaken.
The Bloggers as usuall introduced themselves and their blogs and luckily I was the one who introduced first since I was seated at the front row and the other bloggers followed suit.
Below are the pictures of the atendee bloggers at the event:
And some group photos of the bloggers who were there for the first time and a lot of familiar faces who are at the event for the second time. Just like myself.
And there are some more pictures of the bloggers who won some prizes at the party and some are just having fun and we got to know each other and shared the moment at the event!
This is somehow a re-post and unfortunately not the last one. Bad thing do happen with this blog and it has become a yearly event already. that right after the Digital Filipino Club event there is something gone wrong with this blog. Just like last year my Dabaw Pinoy Blog was accidentally deleted and this year I cannot access my blog and again all my posts were not saved and no back ups were made. So there goes my posts.
But anyways life goes on and everything will just be fine!!
